Email Templates Purpose
The purpose of Email Templates is to provide access to the default system templates used to send emails to individuals. The templates may be tailored to fit your specific company needs.
Email Templates Overview
The Email Templates Tab provides access to the default system templates that are used to send emails to individuals.
These are any template the system sends out to users including password reminders, user reminders, event reminders, etc.
To access this tab, click on Admin > Client Setting at the top of the dashboard. Then select the Email Templates Tab.
Modifying Templates
Available templates may be modified to match your communication style as long as the variables are not changed. Variables are noted by an @ symbol. To modify a template, click on the Pencil Icon.
A pop-up window will appear displaying the template details. You cannot change the Purpose or the Variables (i.e. (@FirstName, etc) for an email template.
You may change the email body text, add images, add links, insert attachments, add URL's, and move variables to other locations within the message body. A rich text editor is provided for formatting the message body. Click Update once finished to save your changes.
Anything after the @ symbol is a variable and should not be changed within an email template. Variables are case sensitive.
If this information was to be changed, then the entered text would be displayed to every email recipient. These variables allow the appropriate information to be populated into the message.
