User Device Tab Purpose

The purpose of the User Device Tab is to see if a device has been linked by the user and to re-sync the device or re-calculate points for the user.

User Device Tab Overview

The User Device Tab can be accessed by clicking on  Admin > User Search. Then search for the user and click on the Pencil Icon to manage their information. Once there, click on the User Device Tab.

If a device has not been linked, then you will see No Device Linked on this tab.

If a device has been linked, then you will see the following information:

  • Vendor Name - Fitbit, GoogleFit, Garmin, etc. Vendor of the device or wearable that has been linked to FitLyfe.

  • Date Linked - This is the date and time the device was linked to FitLyfe.

  • Last Activity Date - If activity has occurred recently, such as steps in the last few minutes, then this column will show the date and time that activity was received from the member.

  • Last Sync Date - This is the last date and time the system synced with the user's device.

The steps for linking a user device can be found in the wearables section of the User Guide. Once a device has been linked by the user, you will see the device information on this tab.

Refreshing User Data & Recalculating Points

The Refresh User Data and Recalculate Points button may be clicked once and any other clicks will not be accepted.

This option is provided in case the data has not been refreshed, so the admin can click on this option and refresh the data automatically.

When you click on this button, the system will go to the provider and retrieve data. What is retrieved will depend on the provider.

  • Fitbit and Google Health - The system will go to the provider and grab the latest data from them. It will re-sync the device for the selected member.

  • Apple Health, Garmin, or Microsoft Band - If an award is associated with it, the system will recalculate all of the award points.
