Health Points Widget Purpose

The purpose of the Health Points Widget is to configure your yearly program campaign for awarding members who reach the defined health point goals.

Health Points Widget Overview

The Health Points Widget Tile may be used to configure both the health points widget and the health points dashboard. 

To access this widget configuration, click on Admin > Settings and then click on the widget tile. The widget tile will appear as shown below in the Program Settings

 

To properly set up your yearly program campaign, you will need to complete the following steps (described throughout this page): 

  1. Configure Badges
  2. Create One or More Categories
  3. Create One or More Programs
  4. Set Up the Yearly Program Campaign

Note: It is important to know that the program campaign must be set up each year. 

Health points may attached to corporate or a specific location when added to the system. When no location is assigned, the health points are corporate-wide.

Important: It is highly recommended to configure either corporate-specific or location-specific and not both at the same time. 

A drop-down is provided within the main dashboard for selecting a location. Once selected, the dashboard will refresh to show content for that location within the widgets. 

Health Points Configuration Tabs

The widget configuration contains several tabs, which are used to configure different portions of the widget and the dashboard. Each tab is described in further detail within the table below:

Content

This tab may be used to add content for users to see in the Health Points Dashboard

Health points content may be tailored to be corporate-specific or location-specific when added to the system. A drop-down menu is provided in the widget for viewing content based on a location. 

Once a link has been defined for a location, this content will appear in the main dashboard after it is selected in the Location Menu.

Important: Information added to the Content Tab will appear at the bottom of the Important Information section of the Health Points Dashboard

Please note that it is separate from the Quick Links portion, which is configured in the Link and Document Management Widgets

Properties

This tab may be used to configure the widget title, widget visibility, and the tooltip.

These options are for the widget displayed on the main dashboard.

The steps for managing widget properties in the Health Points Widget are the same as with other widgets. For more information about these steps, please see the Program Settings page.

Program Campaigns

This tab may be used to view, add, and manage your yearly program campaigns.

Yearly campaigns may be set up to be corporate-specific or location-specific in the system.

Before a campaign can be created, you will need to set up your badges, categories, and programs.

Programs

This tab may be used to view, add, and manage your health point programs.

CategoriesThis tab may be used to view, add, and manage your health point categories. 
BadgesThis tab may be used to view and configure your health point badges or medals. 

Health Points Dashboard

Information in this widget configuration also affects what is displayed within the Health Points Dashboard. Each section above correlates to specific locations either within the widget and this dashboard or on both. 

The following explains where this information is displayed within the dashboard: 

  • Important Information - Only information shown below available quick links is configured within the Content Tab of this configuration. Quick link content is configured separately. Please refer to the Link & Document Management Widgets to learn more.

  • My Badges - This section is populated from the Badges Tab of the Health Points Widget configuration.

  • Points Summary - The total points is the total badge the user needs to complete. Available points is the sum of the maximum available points.

  • Points History - The icon comes from what was selected in the Program Campaign configuration. The program name comes from the Program Tab. Categories in the history are configured in the Categories Tab. Points information (points, max points, and frequency) should be entered every year for the campaign. This information is also entered when creating a campaign from the Program Campaign Tab

If content is defined as corporate-specific and location-specific, which will be visible to the user?

Can I configure corporate-specific and location-specific program campaigns at the same time?

Can I hide the widget from view in the main dashboard? 

Can I change the widget title?

Can I change the widget tooltip?


If content is defined as corporate-specific and location-specific, which will be visible to the user?

The location-specific content will be visible to the user before the corporate.

In order for the corporate-specific content to be visible, you will need to configure the status of the location-specific content to "inactive".


Can I configure corporate-specific and location-specific program campaigns at the same time?

Yes, you can. However, it is recommended to keep them separate.


Can I hide the widget from view in the main dashboard? 

Yes, you can. To do so, you will need to change your visibility on the Properties Tab.

The steps for hiding a widget from view are the same for each available widget.
