Dashboard Message Purpose
The purpose of the Dashboard Message is to configure and manage dashboard messages displayed to users in the Important Information section of the Biometric Dashboard.
Dashboard Message Overview
The Dashboard Message Tab may be accessed by clicking on Admin > Settings and then clicking on My Credits in the green widget tile. The widget tile will appear as shown below in the Program Settings.
This information is displayed for each yearly campaign and it is important to choose the appropriate year when adding a dashboard message.
Adding a Dashboard Message
To add a message, complete the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the Admin > Settings > My Credits.
Step 2: On the Dashboard Message Tab, click on Add Message.
Step 3: Enter all required information. Items with an asterisk* are required.
Step 4: The dashboard message will not be displayed to users until the effective date. Make certain the right date is configured in this field. If the date is before the effective date, the message will not be displayed.
Step 5: Make certain the appropriate Campaign Year is chosen before saving. Otherwise, the message may not appear in the Biometric Dashboard to users.
Step 6: Click Save to finish. The message will appear within the table on the Dashboard Message Tab.
Once saved, you will be able to update the message by clicking on the Pencil Icon or can use the X to remove the message.
